India's industrial security force leads radiological emergency exercise at Vadodara Airport
India's Central Industrial Security Force led a multi-agency mock CBRN exercise on Friday 20 March. The exercise centred around a spillage of radioactive material at Vadodara Airport's Cargo Complex.
Announcing the exercise on X, the Central Industrial Security Force said that the exercise "aimed to assess preparedness, coordination and joint response mechanisms among all stakeholders, ensuring seamless action during real-life contingencies while demonstrating unity in action".
"The exercise concluded successfully with a detailed debriefing session, reinforcing collective preparedness and strengthening coordinated response," the post said.
