NuviaTech has announced that they have delivered 21 CoMo surface contamination monitors, along with two "Floor Bogey" floor contamination survey systems, to a major Canadian nuclear utility.

According to an announcement from NuviaTech on Friday 27 February, the instruments "strengthen the site's radiological protection toolkit and accelerate day‑to‑day operations".

The delivery will help address problems associated with slow contamination checks and inconsistent measurements, while remaining durable in high-use field environments. The Floor Bogeys, delivered alongside the CoMo surface contamination monitors, "enable rapid wide‑area floor monitoring, reducing manual sweep time and speeding up area release", said NuviaTech.

"We’re proud to support our Canadian client in enhancing radiological safety, efficiency and worker throughput," NuviaTech said. "If your facility is modernising its contamination monitoring capabilities, our team is here to help."
