Swedish conscripts conduct CBRN training with Proengin equipment
Conscripts in the Swedish Defence Forces have been trained on identifying chemical weapons and decontamination this month. Proengin's S4PF sampler and AP4C were also spotted being used in the training.
In a Facebook post on 13 February, the CBRN school at the Swedish Defence Forces' national military CBRN centre in Umeå announced that their personnel had trained conscripts from Svea Company.
"The exercises are being conducted so that the conscripts will gain in-depth knowledge and understanding of how chemical weapons can be identified and decontaminated," the post said.
Having spotted their products being used, Proengin said they "take great pride in seeing our solutions supporting users during training activities but also across real-life operational scenarios where reliability is mission-critical."
The AP4C is a "combat-proven" flame spectrometer detector, while the S4PF sampler allows for the collection and vaporisation of certain narcotics to perform quick field detection.
