US Capability Program Executive conducts ECL toxin identifier training
The United States Capability Program Executive for Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Defense - abbreviated to CPE CBRND - has announced that they recently conducted a new equipment training programme for the analytical laboratory system’s electrochemiluminescence (ECL) toxin identifier.
In a short post on LinkedIn on Monday 9 February, they wrote that their "Joint Project Manager for CBRN Sensors" team conducted the training with members of the Louisiana National Guard, Virginia National Guard and Utah National Guard.
"The capability identifies biological toxins as part of the mobile, rapid-response analytical laboratory system," the announcement read, noting that their teams work with National Guard Bureau's weapons of mass destruction civil support teams to ensure they are prepared for future exercises and real-world CBRN events.
