The British provider of simulated CBRN training solutions, Argon Electronics, has announced the launch of their new Small Area Beta Gamma Simulation Probe.

According to the company, the simulator probe expands their radiation training capability by enabling the realistic simulation of Beta and Gamma detection, without the need for real radioactive sources.

Responding to their safe simulation radiation sources, the probe is fully compatible with the RDS AN/PDR-83-SIM SIM system and Argon’s integrated simulation network, including PlumeSIM, allowing instructors to deliver more precise, scenario-based training.

Argon Electronics says that other simulation probes in this series include the Alpha/Beta probe SIM and Beta Photon Probe SIM, with additional probes to be launched in the coming months.
