EGO Zlín, Gumárny Zubří present technologies to Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency
The Czech manufacturers of CBRN protective equipment, EGO Zlín and Gumárny Zubří, presented their technologies to partners in Sweden and representatives of the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MCF) on 12 March 2026.
Taking place at the Czech embassy in Stockholm, the event was moderated by deputy ambassador Jaromír Vejrych and was organised in two thematic blocks. In the first block, EGO Zlín introduced solutions for biological and CBRN protection, including an isolation unit designed for the safe transport of infectious patients and a box for handling hazardous shipments. EGO Zlín also presented other technological solutions, including modular medical and decontamination tents.
The company’s Swedish partner, Nanohub Arctic AB, presented air purification solutions based on photocatalysis, aimed at reducing pathogens and selected air pollutants.
In the second block, Gumárny Zubří presented protective gas masks, including a special hooded mask designed also for children. Their Swedish partner, Jowill AB, introduced its portfolio of products and equipment for security and civil protection units.
The presentations were followed by a practical demonstration of the products and an informal discussion between the Czech companies and representatives of the MCF. The meeting highlighted the synergy between public sector responsibility and industrial innovation, and confirmed that current threats can be addressed jointly.
In a post on LinkedIn, deputy ambassador Vejrych said that "Events like this show how we can face today’s evolving threats together — by connecting public responsibility with industrial innovation and sharing expertise across borders."
