SEC Technologies to develop stand-off biological detector with Slovak, EU support
The Slovakian company SEC Technologies, most well known for their Falcon 4G stand-off chemical detector, has announced that they are developing a "next-generation" stand-off biological agent detection system, named "Vulture".
In a post on LinkedIn, the company confirmed that the project had received funding through the Slovak Recovery and Resilience Plan, which itself is supported by the NextGenerationEU programme.
"This support will enable us to further advance research in stand-off biodetection and expand the capabilities of our stand-off Falcon 4G platform towards the reliable remote detection and identification of biological threats," the company wrote.
"The project aims to enhance the protection of critical infrastructure, safeguard public health and strengthen the capabilities of security and emergency response services."
