Two IEDs detonate in downtown Tehran, three people injured
Two liquid gas-based remote-controlled IEDs detonated in downtown Tehran, Iran on Tuesday night, 14 April.
Iran's Tasnim News Agency reported that the explosion shattered the windows of three houses and damaged two vehicles. Both IEDs did not fully explode and no fatalities were reported, however three people are understood to have sustained "superficial" injuries.
The Caspian Post also reported the explosion, saying that the devices detonated prematurely on Imam Khomeini Street in Tehran’s District 10, near a security forces checkpoint.
