The Philippine Coast Guard successfully conducted a CBRN simulation exercise as part of KAMANDAG 10-26 at the Coast Guard Fleet, Pier 13, Port Area, in the capital city of Manila.

On Monday 29 June, personnel from the Coast Guard CBRN Force, Philippine Coast Guard Nursing Service, Coast Guard Medical Service, Philippine Marine Corps, Philippine Navy, Philippine Air Force, Philippine National Police-Special Action Force and the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force (JGSDF) took part in the exercise.

According to a post on X from the local outlet Brigada NewsFM Manila, the exercise aimed to strengthen interagency coordination, incident command, decontamination procedures, medical response and the management of incidents involving chemical attacks and other CBRN threats.

KAMANDAG 10 is a multi-domain, joint and combined exercise between the Armed Forces of the Philippines and United States military focused on enhancing maritime security, interoperability, contested logistics and combined readiness throughout the Philippine archipelago.
